The Eligibility of AFCAT in terms of Nationality and Marital Status are given below:
• Candidate must be a citizen of India
• Candidate must be below 24 years and should be unmarried
• Widows/Widowers and divorcees (with or without encumbrances) below 24 years are also not eligible
The age of candidates should be between 20 and 24 years. Candidates must have born January 2, 1999, to January 1, 2003. The upper age limit of candidates having a valid and current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA is relaxed upto 26 years, i.e., candidates must have born between January 2, 1997, to January 1, 2003

Graduation in any discipline/cleared sections A and B of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60 Percent.
